This is FOX's Performance Elite Series 2.5 rear shock with remote reservoir, built specifically for the 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma on coil-spring rear suspensions. It supports 0–1.5 inches of rear lift, collapses to 16.3 inches, extends to 26.28 inches, and runs 9.98 inches of travel — real numbers you can plan a build around.

The 2.5-inch smooth body aluminum construction sheds heat faster than steel, and the external remote reservoir adds a second layer of thermal management for repeated high-speed hits or extended technical runs. CNC-machined, black anodized aluminum components throughout, a 7/8-inch hard chromed shaft, and a redundant seal pack that's engineered for harsh conditions. Fully serviceable, not disposable.

Dual-speed compression adjustment is what separates this shock from single-knob setups. Slow-speed compression dials in body roll and braking dive; high-speed compression handles sharp, square-edged hits. That's two distinct tuning inputs — not a marketing checkbox.
