The FOX Factory Race Series 2.5 Internal Bypass Remote Reservoir coilover is the front shock we recommend for 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma owners who are serious about off-road damping performance. This kit fits 2005–2015 Tacomas at 2–3 inches of lift and 2016–2023 Tacomas at 1–2 inches of lift — 6-lug versions only, and an upper control arm is required. If you're running a 4-cylinder, FOX recommends a lighter spring rate for proper ride height.

The internal bypass design is what sets this apart from a standard monotube. Oil flows around the piston at defined stroke points, then builds significant pressure at others — delivering compliance over rough terrain without losing support under load.
