The FOX Performance Series 2.0 Remote Reservoir rear shock is built for Toyota Tacoma owners (2005–2023) who want real damping performance without sacrificing daily drivability. It also fits 2003–2024 Toyota 4Runner and 2007–2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, but Tacoma is where we move most of these.

This shock runs a 2.0-inch smooth body with 9.1 inches of travel, an extended length of 23.8 inches, and a collapsed length of 14.7 inches — sized for 0–1.5 inches of lift at the rear. The external remote reservoir is the key spec here: it separates the oil volume from the main body, which means more consistent damping under heat load when the trail gets rough and repeated compressions start building temperature. The aluminum body accelerates heat dissipation further — a measurable advantage over steel-bodied alternatives.
