ICON 58400 Replacement Bushing And Sleeve Kit for 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma

When the polyurethane bushings in your ICON tubular front upper control arms wear out, steering feel goes soft and front-end clunking follows. This ICON 58400 Replacement Bushing and Sleeve Kit is the direct fix — built specifically for 1995–2004 Toyota Tacoma owners running ICON part number 58400 or 58400DJ upper control arms.

The kit covers a pair of UCAs with a complete set of application-specific polyurethane hat bushings and CNC machined, zinc-plated steel sleeves. Everything to restore the inner pivots to like-new condition is included — no separate hardware sourcing required. Black polyurethane holds its shape under load far better than OEM rubber, keeping suspension geometry consistent and front-end response predictable over time.

What we particularly like here is the greaseable design. Unlike factory rubber that you simply replace and forget, these bushings can be serviced on an ongoing basis — a detail that meaningfully extends service life and justifies the cost over a throwaway alternative. These are genuine ICON Vehicle Dynamics components, so the fitment and material spec are exact to the original arms.

For high-mileage first-gen Tacomas with regular off-road use, this kit restores front-end integrity without replacing the entire control arm assembly. If your ICON UCAs are still solid but the bushings are done, this is the right repair.
