ICON Vehicle Dynamics 0-1 Lift Rear 2.0 Aluminum Series Shock with Remote Reservoir

The ICON V.S. 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shock with remote reservoir is a nitrogen-charged monotube unit built specifically for the 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma with 0-1" of rear lift. This isn't a universal shock with a generic tune — ICON engineers valved it for this exact application using a one-piece linear/digressive piston design that balances street compliance with off-road capability.

The hardware spec is what separates this from entry-level replacements. You get a 5/8" chrome-plated hardened steel shaft, 6061 aluminum rod end and internals, and a 6063 anodized aluminum body paired with a 2.0" remote reservoir. That reservoir adds oil volume and heat dissipation surface area, which directly fights damper fade during extended off-road use. Premium 5WT shock oil keeps damping consistent across a wide temperature range, and a nitrile rubber top-out bumper eliminates noise at full extension.

Sold individually — you'll need a quantity of 2 per vehicle. Not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped trucks, and will not fit submodels running rear leaf springs. Shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable; rebuild kit 202003 and hose shield kit 252012 are available as add-ons.
