ICON 0-3 Inch Lift Front V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover for 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Internal Reservoir Front Coilover Kit delivers a serious front-end upgrade for the 1995–2004 Toyota Tacoma (SR5, DLX, Pre Runner, Limited trims) and 1996–2002 Toyota 4Runner. This kit provides 0–3 inches of adjustable lift height, giving you room to run up to 33x11.50-inch tires without cutting — larger rubber will require fender trimming. We like the 2.5-inch shock body and digressive valving combination: more piston area than stock translates to increased wheel travel (5.36 inches total) and noticeably better damping on- and off-road. The 650 lb/in linear coil springs are ICON-engineered and included. Hardware is built to last — 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, CAD-plated steel shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, and FK rod end bearings keep deflection minimal and longevity high. The unit is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, so it's a long-term investment, not a throwaway shock. One critical installation note: the extended travel length requires aftermarket front upper control arms — ICON's 58500DJ Billet or 58400DJ Tubular UCA kits are the direct add-ons. Pair these fronts with ICON 2.0 or 2.5 Aluminum Series rears for balanced front-to-rear damping. Recommended wheel fitment includes ICON Alloys in 17x8.5, 18x9, or 20x9 configurations at 0mm offset.
