ICON 0-3 Inch Lift Front V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover for 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma

This kit is a direct bolt-on front suspension upgrade for the 1995–2004 Toyota Tacoma — SR5, DLX, Pre Runner, and 4WD Base trims — requiring zero cutting or welding. It delivers 0–3 inches of adjustable lift height, giving you clearance to run tires up to 33x11.50 inches without major modification.

The 2.5-inch single-tube shock body and increased piston area produce measurably better damping than stock across mixed terrain. The remote reservoir keeps operating temperatures in check during extended off-road use, maintaining consistent damping where a standard shock would fade. Valving is tuned specifically for the Tacoma's weight and geometry — not a generic calibration carried over from another platform.

Construction details matter here: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, a CAD-plated steel shock body, and a 7/8-inch induction-hardened chrome shaft. FK Rod End bearings reduce deflection and extend service life. Shocks are fully serviceable. A 700 lb/in Expedition Coil is available separately for heavier-equipped trucks, and a bump stop spacer kit is also available as an add-on.

For a balanced build front to rear, we recommend pairing this kit with ICON's 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks. Note: this kit will not fit 2WD Tacomas with 5 wheel lug studs.
