ICON 0-3 Inch Lift Front V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover for 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Kit is a purpose-built front suspension upgrade for the 1995–2004 Toyota Tacoma, covering SR5, DLX, Pre Runner, and Limited trims. This kit delivers 0–3 inches of ride height adjustability through height-adjustable coilovers paired with ICON-engineered 650 lb/in linear coil springs — giving you the clearance needed to run up to 33x11.50-inch tires without fender trimming. We like the 2.5-inch monotube shock body for the damping headroom it creates over stock, and the digressive valving profile translates to a controlled, composed feel whether you're on pavement or rough trail. The remote reservoir keeps fluid temps in check during extended off-road runs, extending consistent damping far beyond what a standard shock body can sustain. Extended travel (5.36 inches total, 14.5-inch compressed to 19.85-inch extended) means more wheel articulation, but note: aftermarket front upper control arms are required — ICON's 58400DJ or 58500DJ UCAs are the direct pairing. Hardware is built from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, with a CAD-plated steel shock body, 7/8-inch induction-hardened chrome shaft, and FK rod end bearings throughout. Fully bolt-on installation — no cutting, no welding. For balanced front-to-rear performance, ICON recommends pairing with their 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks.
