FOX Offroad Shocks 2.5 Performance Elite Front Coilover Remote Reservoir 2-3 Lift

This kit delivers FOX's Performance Elite Series 2.5 coilover remote reservoir shocks (pair) for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma — front fitment, designed to eliminate the factory forward rake and bring the nose up to a level ride height without sacrificing droop travel or suspension articulation.

The hardware specs are what set these apart. The 2.5-inch body is impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III hard anodization — resistant to corrosion and wear. The external reservoir increases internal oil capacity to manage heat, and the Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster is mounted to stay clear of aggressive tires at full lock. Shaft is 7/8-inch hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel. Travel is 5.23 inches, extended length 21.87 inches, compressed 16.64 inches. Valving is application-specific to this platform.

Fitment notes you need to know: 2005–2015 Tacoma runs 2–3 inches of front lift; 2016–2023 runs 1–2 inches. Both generation ranges require an upper control arm.
