Squadron-R SAE Pair LED Spot Clear Baja Designs

The Baja Designs Squadron-R SAE LED Light Pod Pair is a road-legal auxiliary fog light built around all-new aspheric projector optics and Baja Designs' latest LED technology. Each pod puts out 2,420 lumens and reaches up to 15,800 candela at just 29 watts — a 56% increase in luminous flux over the previous-generation SAE model. Clear lens, 5000K daylight output, and a sharp Zone 1 cutoff pattern keep light exactly where it needs to be without blinding oncoming traffic.

This kit is SAE J583 compliant, meaning it meets current on-road fog lamp regulations. The controlled cutoff pattern makes these lights genuinely useful in dust, fog, and low-visibility conditions — not just a styling add-on. MoistureBlock construction makes the housings waterproof and submersible. CopperDrive drives the LEDs at 100% rated current for consistent output.

Each pair ships with two light pods and a wiring harness. A 10 ft. harness extension is available as an add-on if your routing requires it. Note: uService is not supported on SAE products — tampering voids the warranty, and the limited lifetime warranty requires factory repair.

Baja Designs backs these with a limited lifetime warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee. At 2.77 inches deep, the pods mount in tight spaces without significant clearance issues. We recommend these when you want a legal, high-output fog solution that doesn't compromise street compliance.
