The FOX Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP Rear Shock is purpose-built for the 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma on coil-spring setups running 0–1.5 inches of rear lift. This is not a universal-fit shock with a generic valving map — FOX tunes it specifically to the Tacoma's application, and that distinction shows in how it performs across conditions.

The 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body carries a Type II clear-anodized finish for corrosion resistance, and the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) keeps oil and pressurized gas separated so you get consistent, cavitation-free damping whether you're on pavement or punishing terrain. The 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft handles load and resists bending. High-flow velocity-sensitive damping adjusts to road conditions — composed on-road, predictable off it.
