The FOX Performance Series 2.5 Rear Shock is a single-unit rear shock for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma, designed to support 0–1.5 inches of lift. It fits 4WD Tacomas across that full year range; RWD owners should confirm they're running the 6-lug configuration before ordering.

The 2.5-inch smooth body is impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type II clear-anodized finish — corrosion-resistant and built to shed heat faster than steel. Inside, a true Internal Floating Piston (IFP) keeps oil and nitrogen gas separated, which means no aeration and no fade when conditions get rough. The 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft handles load and wear, while high-flow velocity-sensitive valving reads terrain input and adjusts damping force in real time. Extended length is 22.36 inches, collapsed is 14.5 inches, with 7.86 inches of travel. End fittings are SM1 top, ES5 bottom.
