FOX Offroad Shocks Shock Absorber 05-23 Rear 2.5 for 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma

The FOX Factory Race Series 2.5 Internal Bypass Piggyback shocks are a rear-position bolt-on upgrade for 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma, built for 0–1.5 inch lift applications. The 6-lug RWD Tacoma fits with the same lift range. These are sold as a pair, with a 2.5-inch smooth body, 7/8-inch shaft with redundant seals, and a finned external reservoir that pulls heat out fast — keeping damping consistent when a standard shock would fade.

What makes this kit stand out is FOX's patented internal bypass technology. Oil flows around the piston at specific stroke points, then builds significant pressure at others. That means real compliance over high-frequency chop and genuine resistance against hard bottom-out events — not a compromise between the two.
