The Baja Designs LP9 Series LED Light Pod traces its lineage directly to the brand's legendary 8-inch La Paz HID — rebuilt around modern LED technology. Nine forward-projecting LEDs combine with six Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) LEDs for a total output of 12,547 lumens at 9A. That IPT array delivers a 200-degree spread of usable light, which is a meaningful difference from pods that only throw a narrow center cone.

Thermal management is where this light separates itself. Baja Designs' Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC) system channels air from the front of the housing directly over the rear heat sinks — an engineered solution to the heat problem that shortens LED life in cheaper pods. MoistureBlock waterproofing and CopperDrive circuitry run LEDs at 100 percent rated current without cutting corners on longevity.

The LP9 Pro variant runs three operating modes — daytime running, low, and high — and ships in your choice of beam pattern. The Driving/Combo blends 42-degree driving and 8-degree spot optics for combined near-field and distance coverage. Straight Spot narrows to 8 degrees for maximum reach.
