ICON Vehicle Dynamics 0-1 Lift 2.5 Aluminum V.S. Rear Shock with CDEV, Pair

This is ICON's V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shock pair with CDEV for the 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma, built for 0–1" of rear lift on coil-spring-equipped trims. Fitment does not extend to AVS-equipped Limiteds or any Tacoma submodel running rear leaf springs.

The 2.5" aluminum monotube body is CNC machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, hard anodized for corrosion resistance, and runs a 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft with a rubber dust boot included. A remote reservoir improves heat dissipation to fight fade during extended off-road use, and the internal Bump Zone — created by a 6061-billet aluminum manifold positioned near the top cap — adds 20% damping force as the shock approaches full compression, keeping you off the harsh bottom-out zone at high velocity. Valving is application-specific digressive, tuned in both length and damping for this exact truck.

The CDEV (Compression Damping Electronic Valve) is the differentiator here. This infinitely variable electronic valve reacts in under 40ms, metering oil flow to adjust compression damping on the fly. Paired with the ICON Intelligent Control app — which pulls from an onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope to predict terrain and auto-adjust settings — you get active damping management without touching a wrench. These shocks are also fully rebuildable; service kit 252011 covers the remote reservoir rebuild when the time comes.
