ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Remote Reservoir Long Travel Coilover Kit with CDEV

This ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series kit brings a 2.5" body remote reservoir coilover with integrated CDEV technology to the front end of 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma builds running compatible long travel front upper and lower control arms. The 2.5" shock body and increased piston area over stock deliver improved damping across terrain, while the external reservoir keeps operating temperatures in check during sustained hard use. Eibach springs, 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC machined components, CAD plated shock bodies, 7/8" induction hardened chrome plated shafts, and FK rod end bearings round out the hardware package. This kit is fully rebuildable and re-tunable.

The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is the headline feature here. This infinitely variable electronically controlled valve reacts in under 40ms, metering oil flow to adjust damping force in real time. Paired with the ICON Intelligent Control app — which pulls data from an onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope — the system actively adapts shock settings to terrain. An iOS device is required to run the IIC app.

Front lift range is 0–3.5" on most 2005–2015 Tacoma applications and 0–2.75" on 2016–2023 models. 2018–2023 Tacomas require ADAS recalibration after install. This kit will not fit 2WD Tacomas with 5 lug studs or stock width control arms. Completing the system also requires the applicable IIC kit and CDEV rear shocks.
