The 2.5" shock body delivers increased piston area over stock for improved damping across varying terrain, while external remote reservoirs keep operating temperatures lower during extended hard use. Lift height adjustability runs 0-3.5" on 2005-2015 models and 0-2.75" on 2016-2023 models, with 700 lb/in linear coil springs that ICON recommends specifically for trucks carrying additional front-end weight.

The standout feature is the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV). This electronically controlled valve reacts in under 40ms, metering oil flow to regulate damping force on compressed stroke. It's infinitely variable, tailored hydraulically per application, and integrates with the ICON Intelligent Control system via a proprietary iOS app — using onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope data to predict terrain and auto-adjust settings.
