ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 VS Extended Travel Coilover Kit with Internal Reservoir

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Extended Travel Coilover Kit is a front suspension upgrade built specifically for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma. The 2.5" shock body and increased piston area over stock components maximize available wheel travel, while vehicle-specific valving delivers controlled, composed ride quality on- and off-road. Lift height adjustability runs 0–3.5" on 2005–2015 models and 0–2.75" on 2016–2023 models — TRD Pro variants on 2017–2023 Tacomas are limited to 0–1.25" over stock.

This kit delivers 5.16" of travel length, a CAD-plated steel shock body with a 7/8" diameter shaft, FK Rod End bearings, and ICON-engineered coil springs backed by a lifetime warranty against sagging or breakage. The digressive valving profile keeps low-speed body roll in check without sacrificing compliance at higher speeds. The design is fully rebuildable and revalveable.

A few things to plan for before ordering: these are extended-travel coilovers, so aftermarket front upper control arms are required — they will not work with OEM arms. Up to 33"x11.50" tires fit with minor fender trimming; 0mm offset aftermarket wheels are recommended. 2018–2023 Tacomas require ADAS recalibration after install. This kit does not fit 2WD Tacomas with 5 lug wheel studs.

For balanced front-to-rear performance, we recommend pairing this kit with ICON 2.0 or 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks.
