ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 Suspension System 0-3.5 / 0-2.75 Lift

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 Suspension System (K53001) is a complete front and rear upgrade built specifically for the 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma. Up front, you get vehicle-specific tuned 2.5" coilovers with an internal reservoir and ICON-engineered coil springs rated at 650 lb/in. Height adjustment runs 0-3.5" on 2005-2015 models and 0-2.75" on 2016-2023 models. Out back, ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube shocks with a 5/8" shaft and vehicle-specific valving keep the rear balanced with the front.

Construction specs matter here: the coilover body is CAD plated for corrosion resistance, the shaft measures 7/8", and machined components are 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum. FK Rod End bearings handle articulation with minimal deflection. This is a bolt-on system — no cutting, no welding.

For tire clearance, ICON recommends 33x11.50" with minor fender trimming. Pair it with ICON Alloys in 17x8.5 (4.75" backspace/0mm offset), 18x9 (5.00" backspace/0mm offset), or 20x9 (5.00" backspace/0mm offset). TRD Pro owners (2017-2023) should note the lift range is 0-1.25" over stock. On 2018-2023 trucks, ADAS recalibration is required after install. This kit will not fit 2WD Tacomas with 5 lug wheel studs.

The optional Bump Stop Spacer Kit (51045) can add .25" of preload beyond maximum, and a front sway bar link kit (51051) is available as an add-on.
