ICON Tubular Upper Control Arm W Delta Joint Kit for 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma

ICON's tubular upper control arms with Delta Joint replace a genuine weak point on the 1995–2004 Toyota Tacoma and 1996–2002 Toyota 4Runner — OEM arms that weren't engineered for aggressive off-road use or lifted geometry. This kit addresses both problems directly.

Construction starts with CNC bent 1026 DOM steel tubing, powder coated semi-gloss black for corrosion resistance. Built-in caster correction and geometry optimization are baked into the design — no guesswork with alignment specs post-install. The CNC machined two-piece steel taper adapter clamps both sides of the spindle to distribute impact loads properly.

The standout here is ICON's patented Delta Joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700). Where a standard uniball allows high articulation but leaves the joint exposed to the elements, the Delta Joint wraps that performance in a zinc-plated housing with a grease seal. It's greasable and metal-on-metal, which means serviceable longevity and quiet operation — characteristics a bare uniball simply can't offer on a daily driver.

This kit ships as a pair, pre-assembled, with mounting hardware and a grease fitting included. Serviceable dual-stage polyurethane bushings with CNC machined housings and sleeves are already in place. ICON recommends pairing with up to 33x11.50 tires. Add-ons include billet cap sets and a nipple greasing adapter.

Used as part of a complete ICON suspension system, these arms carry a 5-year limited warranty.
