The Overland Vehicle Systems 2" x 30' tow strap is built for static recovery situations where you need a reliable, no-stretch connection between vehicles. OVS starts with tightly woven synthetic fiber — 30 strands per inch — double-stitched at both ends with a heavy-duty padded protective sleeve. The 10-inch loops are sized to work with soft shackles and D-rings, and the 20,000 lb. breaking strength gives you serious margin when the pull gets ugly.

We like that OVS engineered and statically tested this strap to surpass breaking strength requirements rather than simply meet them. The soft, pliable material stores cleanly in the included mesh-bottom bag, which lets dirt and debris escape so you're not trapping abrasive particles against the fibers between uses — a detail that matters for long-term strap life.
