Short Drum Competition Fairlead Factor 55

The Factor 55 Short Drum Competition Hawse Fairlead is built for short-drum winches — those with drums under 6 inches — and runs synthetic rope only. CNC machined from 1-inch-thick 6000-series aluminum bar, it's noticeably more substantial than the 0.75-inch industry standard. That extra material isn't bulk for its own sake: it produces a larger outer fillet radius for the rope to bear against, reducing fiber stress during high-angle pulls and extending the working life of your synthetic line.

The tall slot opening lets tube thimbles up to 1/2 inch in diameter pass through cleanly — this is the first Hawse fairlead designed around that clearance. There's also a machined outer corner chamfer to manage rope stress for anyone running a suck-down setup. Overall dimensions are 12.35 inches by 3.25 inches with standard 10-inch bolt mount spacing.

The MIL-A-8625F TYPE III hard anodize finish is gunmetal gray and does real work: it resists abrasion from a gritty rope running across it repeatedly and keeps surface friction low to reduce rope wear. Made in the USA. Mounting hardware is not included — factor that into your order.
