recovery ring soft shackle Combo Pack - 41,000 lb. Overland Vehicle Systems

This combo pack from Overland Vehicle Systems pairs a 7/16 inch Dyneema soft shackle rated at 41,000 lb. with a 4.00 inch, 41,000 lb. recovery ring — everything you need for a cleaner, safer recovery setup in a single purchase. Both items ship with their own storage bags, and the soft shackle includes a loop, abrasive sleeve, and measures 23 inches.

The soft shackle is built on Dyneema, a low-friction synthetic fiber so strong that an equivalent wire rope would need to be three times as thick to match it. That same Dyneema construction means braided recovery lines run through it easily, often eliminating the need for a separate snatch block. Under load it performs like a metal shackle — off the trail it won't rattle, won't scratch paint, and has no pin to lose in the dirt.

The T6 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum recovery ring is the other half of this system. It doesn't rust or corrode, carries the same 41,000 lb. rating, and is designed to replace traditional snatch blocks. Unlike snatch blocks, it doesn't store kinetic energy — a meaningful safety advantage if a component fails mid-recovery.

We recommend this combo because the shackle and ring are engineered to work together at matched load ratings, making it a coherent recovery system rather than two random pieces of gear.
