ProLink XXL Shackle Mount Assembly Factor 55

The Factor 55 ProLink XXL is a winch shackle mount built to replace the conventional winch hook with a precision-engineered connection point for a screw pin shackle or D-ring. Originally developed for 24,000 lb. military winch applications, it carries that same working load limit of 24,000 pounds to the civilian market, with an ultimate failure load exceeding 63,000 pounds.

Construction is 6061-T6 billet aluminum, precision machined from 6000 series round bar stock and hard anodized in gray. The mounting tab measures 1.2 inches thick, and the assembly runs 5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter. A 3/4-inch 6Al-4V titanium double shear pin holds it all together, retained by a simple snap ring. The base is fitted with a barbed, high-durometer EPDM rubber guard that protects hawse and roller fairleads from abrasion.

This unit handles steel cables and synthetic ropes up to 1/2 inch in diameter and accepts standard 3/4-inch and 7/8-inch shackles.
