ProLink Winch Shackle Mount Assembly Factor 55

The Factor 55 ProLink replaces the conventional winch hook with a precision-machined shackle mount designed to work with standard 3/4" screw pin or soft shackles. We recommend this upgrade because hook safety latches carry no load rating, recovery straps can slip off hooks, and hook geometry puts higher stress on strap fibers — problems a properly rated shackle eliminates outright.

Construction is billet 6061-T6 aluminum, precision machined and Type-II anodized in the USA. The 1.2" thick mounting tab nearly eliminates shackle rattle, and the 5/8" diameter 6Al-4V titanium double shear pin secures the cable or rope eye in double shear — a significantly stronger retention geometry than a single-shear hook pin. Max load rating is 16,000 lbs. Steel cables and synthetic ropes up to 3/8" diameter are both supported.

This kit cinches cleanly against both Hawse and Roller fairleads, and the integrated EPDM rubber boot protects alloy fairlead surfaces during contact. The snap ring removal system means the mount can be pulled and stowed in minutes when not needed. Engineered, stress-analyzed with FEA, and destructively tested — all in the USA.
