Offset Hawse Fairlead Factor 55

The Factor 55 Offset Hawse Fairlead is built for bumpers and mounts that require an offset fairlead attachment — ARB Bull Bars being a prime example. It's CNC machined from 1.5-inch thick USA 6000-series aluminum, which creates a larger outer fillet radius for the synthetic rope to bear against. That geometry directly reduces fiber stress during high-angle and side pulls, extending rope service life compared to thinner fairleads.

The opening is taller than standard to accept larger 1/2-inch diameter rope tube thimbles, and there's a machined outer corner chamfer specifically for winch suck-down applications. Overall dimensions are 11.75 inches x 3.4 inches, with a 10-inch bolt mount spacing for foot-forward winch mounts. No mounting hardware is included — confirm bolt shank length against your winch and bumper stack before ordering.

The finish is where this fairlead separates itself from the field. Factor 55 applies a MIL-A-8625F Type III hard anodized gunmetal gray coating — not a cosmetic Type II finish. That hard anodize produces an Al2O3 ceramic surface that resists abrasion from gritty rope under load and maintains low friction coefficients to reduce heat buildup during hard pulls.
