The Baja Designs LP9 Series LED Light Pod carries the design DNA of their 8-inch La Paz HID, rebuilt for modern LED output. Nine forward-projecting LEDs combine with six IPT (Integrated Peripheral Technology) LEDs to deliver 12,547 lumens at 9A draw, with IPT extending usable light across a 200-degree spread. This is functional peripheral coverage — not ambient wash.

Thermal management is handled by Baja Designs' Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC) system, which pulls airflow from the front of the housing and routes it across rear heat sinks. That means consistent output under sustained use and a longer service life for the LEDs.

Beam pattern options are Driving/Combo (42-degree driving blended with 8-degree spot, covering Zones 1–3) or Spot (8-degree, Zones 4–5) for dedicated distance work alongside wider auxiliaries.
