The Factor 55 HitchLink 2.5 is a Class V 2.5-inch hitch receiver recovery point machined from 6000 series billet aluminum in the USA. It slides directly into your 2.5-inch receiver opening and locks in place with a hitch pin — no reducing adapter, no sleeve, no downgrading to a weaker Class III or IV insert.

The shackle mount is rated at 18,000 lbs with an ultimate failure load of 69,000 lbs. It accepts 3/4-inch (7/8-inch pin) and 7/8-inch (1-inch pin) screw pin shackles, and the machined radius on the mount hole also accommodates soft shackles up to 1/2 inch. The cross-drilled design lets you orient the shackle tab parallel to the bumper or vertical — practical flexibility when rigging a recovery.

We like that Factor 55 finished this in Mil-Spec Hard Anodized Gunmetal Gray (Mil-A-8625 F Type III) rather than paint. At 3.6 lbs, it won't add meaningful weight to your hitch setup. Hitch pin not included — use a quality steel alloy 5/8-inch pin and always pull in-line with the hitch.
