Brute Kinetic Recovery Rope 5/8 Inch x 20 Foot With Storage Bag Overland Vehicle Systems

The Overland Vehicle Systems Brute Kinetic Recovery Rope measures 5/8 inch in diameter and 20 feet in length, built from double-braided nylon with an abrasion and UV resistant coating. That construction handles repeated contact with rocks, roots, and rough terrain without degrading the fibers where it counts.

The 30 percent stretch is what separates a kinetic rope from a static tow strap. As the rope loads, it stores kinetic energy and releases it in a controlled pull — reducing the sharp impact loads on recovery points, hitches, and the vehicles on both ends. Breaking strength is rated at 69,000 lbs, making this rope suitable for heavy-duty recovery situations in sand, mud, and snow.

We like the high-visibility red loops for the same reason most recovery pros do: fast identification and easier handling when conditions are bad and hands are cold. The rope ships with a weather-tested storage bag that keeps it clean, dry, and ready to deploy. OVS backs the Brute with a lifetime warranty, so this is a one-time purchase for your recovery kit.
